Terms & Conditions

Please take a moment to read our Terms & Conditions before booking.

Daycare

General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by mydogspot GmbH, including daycare, boarding, and training. 

 

New clients are required to attend an initial meeting and trial session before services begin.
By signing a contract or using any service, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

Transport (if applicable)

Transport from and to Stettbach station is offered on selected days during the week.
Pick-up or drop-off at other locations (e.g. home or workplace) is only available upon special request and must be agreed in advance.

Definitions

Regular dogs

A dog is considered regular if it attends daycare at least once per week on an ongoing basis.

Temporary absences (e.g. holidays or illness) do not affect regular status, provided we are informed in advance.

Occasional dogs

Dogs without fixed weekly attendance are considered occasional clients. Regular and occasional clients are subject to different pricing (see “Prices & Services”).

Booking System

Daycare bookings are managed via an online booking system. 
Clients are responsible for booking, modifying, and cancelling sessions within the required timeframes. 

Invoicing & Payment

Regular clients (daycare and/or boarding), and occasional daycare clients:

  • Invoice issued on the 15th of each month  

  • Billing period: 16th – 15th  

  • Payment due within 14 days  

  • Payment via bank transfer, eBill, or cash  

Regular boarding

  • Invoiced after the stay

Occasional boarding

  • Full payment required 21 days in advance  

Cancellation Policy

Regular Daycare

Regular clients benefit from 3 flexible weeks per calendar year: 

  • Can be used without charge  

  • Regular status remains unaffected

After these are used: 

​

Clients have two options: 

  • 25% of the daycare price is charged → regular status is maintained  

  • No payment → regular status is lost and the client becomes occasional  

Occasional Daycare

  • Cancellation more than 48 hours in advance before the scheduled start time → free of charge  

  • Cancellation less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time  → 50% of the daycare price is charged  

Cancellation of Boarding (applies to all clients)

More than 14 days before start → full refund  

Less than 14 days before the start:

  • 50% of the booking is charged

  • The remaining 50% is refunded (if already paid)

Pick-up & Late Fees

  • Dogs must be picked up at the agreed time

  • Late pick-up will result in additional charges

  • After 18:30, CHF 10 per started 15 minutes will be charged

Health & Requirements

The client confirms that their dog:

  • is healthy and free of contagious diseases  

  • is properly vaccinated  

  • is registered (e.g. AMICUS)  

  • has no undisclosed medical conditions  

  • is not in heat, or this has been communicated in advance

The client agrees to inform mydogspot GmbH of any health or behavioural issues. 

If a dog is diagnosed with a contagious disease, the owner may be held responsible for resulting costs affecting other dogs.

mydogspot GmbH is not liable for any incidents if being on heat is not communicated in advance.

Behaviour & Safety

The client must disclose any known behavioural issues, including aggression, fear, or reactivity. 

mydogspot GmbH reserves the right to refuse or terminate care at any time if: 

  • a dog shows aggression towards humans or other animals  

  • the dog cannot be safely integrated into the group  

  • or the safety of other dogs or staff is at risk

No refund is guaranteed in such cases. 

Liability

The dog owner is fully responsible for any damage caused by their dog, including: 

  • injury to other dogs or people  

  • damage to property

The client confirms that they have valid liability insurance covering their dog. 

mydogspot GmbH is not liable for injuries, illness, loss, or damage unless caused by gross negligence. 

This includes injuries during play, group interaction, or outdoor activities.

Dog not collected

If a dog is not collected within a reasonable time and after unsuccessful attempts to contact the owner, mydogspot GmbH reserves the right to arrange appropriate care or placement. Any resulting costs are the responsibility of the owner.

Veterinary Care

In case of illness or emergency, mydogspot GmbH is authorized to seek veterinary treatment if the owner cannot be reached. 

All veterinary costs are the responsibility of the owner. 

Personal Belongings

mydogspot GmbH is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items such as collars, leashes, toys, or beds.

Photos & Media

Photos and videos of dogs may be used for marketing purposes (e.g. website, social media), unless the client explicitly objects. 

General Conditions

  • Cancellations must be communicated in time  

  • Time of cancellation is based on when the cancellation is received

  • mydogspot GmbH reserves the right to adjust scheduling based on capacity 

Training / Dog School 

Participation 

  • Participation in training sessions requires prior registration and confirmation  

  • Dogs must meet basic health and vaccination requirements  

  • The owner is responsible for the dog during the training session  

Responsibility of the owner 

  • The client is responsible for handling and controlling their dog at all times during training  

  • The client must follow the trainer’s instructions  

  • Any behavioural issues (e.g. aggression, fear, reactivity) must be disclosed in advance  

No guarantee of results 

  • Training results depend on the owner’s consistency, handling, and environment  

  • mydogspot GmbH does not guarantee specific outcomes or behaviour changes  

Safety & exclusion 

  • mydogspot GmbH reserves the right to exclude dogs or clients from training if:  

  • safety cannot be ensured  

  • instructions are not followed  

  • the dog shows dangerous behaviour  

Legal requirements (Zurich courses) 

  • Training courses may follow the official requirements of the Zürich Veterinary Office.

  • Clients are responsible for completing any legally required courses within the applicable deadlines.

Missed lessons / cancellation

  • Missed sessions are not refundable unless cancelled within the applicable cancellation timeframe.

  • Exact cancellation deadlines depend on the specific course or service

General Provisions

Swiss law applies to any disputes. The place of jurisdiction is the location of mydogspot GmbH.

mydogspot GmbH reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
